Established in 1911, Miller Lumber Company has been serving Central Oregon’s builders and homeowners for over a century with two locations in Bend and Redmond. Each yard features a complete lumber yard, a fully stocked hardware store, and a jobsite delivery service with lumber, plywood, siding, trim, windows, doors, and decking for both commercial and residential contractors. Since its founding over a century ago, Miller Lumber has set the standard for exceptional customer service, community involvement, and innovative building solutions.
In 1911, three pioneering associates including Harry A. (Ham) Miller founded the Overturf, Davis, Miller Company. After two years in business, Ham bought out his partners and established Miller Lumber Company. In its earliest years, Miller Lumber contracted the entire cut of a mill and hauled the lumber back to town to be planed and stored for local retail or shipped for wholesale throughout the country, making them the go-to lumber retailer for Central Oregon. In 1915, the company sold the planing mill and established a yard-style setup that carried Miller Lumber Company into the next century of business.
