Kodiak Building Partners Wins “Partners in Philanthropy” Award

The Denver Business Journal Recognizes Kodiak for Exceptional Community Commitment

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., August 22, 2024 — Kodiak Building Partners, a leading building materials distribution company, announced today they have won the Denver Business Journal’s “Partners in Philanthropy” award for 2024. The prestigious award honors outstanding commitment to supporting metro Denver area nonprofit and charitable organizations.

The foundation serves a dual purpose: supporting employees in need and enabling Kodiak and its operating companies to accept donations for the charities they champion. Judges for the Partners in Philanthropy awards evaluated nominees on several criteria, including innovation and meaningful contributions through their partnerships with nonprofits and charitable organizations. Nominees’ activities, including volunteer work, monetary or in-kind donations, and board membership, were also key factors in the final selections.

The Denver Business Journal announced the 2024 Partners in Philanthropy award winners on August 19. Kodiak and the other honorees will be recognized at an awards ceremony on October 2.
