Tom serves as President of Carl’s Building Supply, bringing with him a passion for intentional growth in the building industry through continuous innovation, recruiting, and employee development via coaching.

His career in the industry began in 1998 with Plywood Supply Inc., where he started by sweeping the lumberyard after high school and advanced to roles in sales and operations. Following a stint with a national finance company, Tom ventured into entrepreneurship, founding a consulting business that advised start-ups in marketing and development within the building materials industry. He has held multiple board positions, including with the WBMA, where he contributed expertise in regulatory compliance. Since joining Carl’s, Tom and his team have more than doubled revenue while preserving their unique market position.

In his spare time, Tom enjoys family activities with his wife and two kids in Edmonds, WA, a community north of Seattle. H is also an avid Seattle sports fan. Tom is a licensed attorney and holds a BS in International Business Management from Western Washington University and a Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University School of Law.
