Having worked in his father’s drywall finishing business throughout high school and college, Perry developed a sharp understanding of the building supply industry and went on to earn his North Carolina General Contractor’s License. When the opportunity arose to join a family-owned business, Perry brought his skills to New River Building Supply and began shaping it into the company it is today.

Never one to shy away from hard work—whether jumping in a truck to deliver lumber, putting in long hours at the mill, or hitting the road for sales—Perry has worn many hats over the years. After 38 years of steady leadership, he has guided New River Building Supply through challenges and growth, establishing it as the premier building supply company in the region.

Outside of work, Perry enjoys spending well-earned quality time with his wife of 40 years, their five daughters, and nine grandchildren.
