As Executive VP of Operations, Mike has executive oversight of the LBM-SE region and LBM-Turn Key, Construction Supply, and Door, Millwork, & Window segments for Kodiak. Mike also has executive oversight of the marketing and national accounts teams.

Mike’s role is to ensure Kodiak resources are available for each operating company to achieve best-in-class- performance and to facilitate the sharing of best practices between businesses. As part of the executive leadership team, Mike participates in mergers and acquisition activities for Kodiak.

Growing up in a family lumber business, Mike has spent his entire career of 35+ years in the building materials industry. Following the sale of the family business, Mike joined Seigle’s, a regional LBM operating in the greater Chicago area, where he held several senior management roles. He later joined Truswal, an ITW company providing connector plates and engineering software to the building components industry as a Regional Sales Manager and later as Director of Sales and Business Development for ITW’s structural hardware business. Mike then joined the Kodiak team in 2014 with New England Building Supply as Co-President and has since become a valued member of the leadership team.

A dedicated servant to the community, Mike actively supports various community and charitable organizations. Mike attended the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse studying business.
