Mike Flood

As Executive VP of Operations, Mike leads the production LBM, doors, millwork, and windows distribution businesses for Kodiak with locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin.

Mike’s role is to ensure Kodiak resources are available for each company to achieve best-in-class performance and to facilitate the sharing of best practices between businesses.

As part of the executive leadership team, Mike participates in mergers and acquisitions activity with acquisition candidates associated with his group of businesses. The following companies fall under Mike’s leadership: Premier Building Supply, Direct Lumber & Door of Colorado, Christensen Lumber, Mandere Construction, Medallion Industries, Northwest Building Components, AO Door, Builders Millwork, Sun Mountain Custom Doors, and Sunrise Builders Supply.

Growing up in a family lumber business, Mike has spent his entire career of 30+ years in the building materials industry. Following the sale of the family business, Mike joined Seigle’s, a regional LBM operating in the greater Chicago area, where he held several senior management roles. He later joined Truswal, an ITW company providing connector plates and engineering software to the building components industry as a Regional Sales Manager and later as Director of Sales and Business Development for ITW’s structural hardware business. Mike then joined the Kodiak team in 2014 with New England Building Supply as Co-President alongside his brother Pat and has since become a valued member of the leadership team.

A dedicated servant to the community, Mike is also active in various community and charitable organizations including Pine Street Inn, Interfaith Social Services, Home for Little Wanderers, Compassion International, and the Alzheimer’s Association. Mike attended the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse studying business.
