Mike Flood serves as Chief Operating Officer of Kodiak Building Partners, overseeing operations across the company’s nationwide network of operating businesses. In this role, he ensures alignment, operational effectiveness, and support for Kodiak’s local companies while strengthening collaboration and sharing best practices across the organization. He also plays a key role in mergers and acquisition activities.

Prior to becoming COO, Mike served as Executive Vice President of Operations, where he led Kodiak’s operational strategy and growth, helped align local companies with the broader organizational vision, and provided executive leadership for marketing and national accounts.

Growing up in his family’s lumber business, Mike has spent more than 35 years in the building materials industry. Following the sale of the family business, he joined Seigle’s, a regional LBM company in the greater Chicago area, where he held several senior management roles. He later served as Regional Sales Manager at Truswal, an ITW company, and subsequently as Director of Sales and Business Development for ITW’s structural hardware business. Mike joined Kodiak in 2014 with New England Building Supply as Co-President and has since become a valued member of the leadership team.

A dedicated community leader, Mike actively supports various charitable and civic organizations. He attended the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, where he studied business.
