Kelly oversees Kodiak’s general lumber companies in the Pacific Northwest, serving as its Senior Vice President, serving as its Senior Vice President of LBM Pacific Northwest since 2022. Before joining Kodiak, he was CEO and Trustee for Lumber Traders, INC., an ESOP based in Port Angeles, WA.

Kelly’s career in the lumber industry began with a part-time job, igniting his passion for the field. He progressed rapidly through Dunn Lumber, ultimately becoming a store manager. Kelly brings over 13 years of experience from Dunn Lumber, where he held various roles before joining Lumber Traders. Actively engaged in industry associations, Kelly sits on the Executive Board for the Western Building Materials Association and the Building Industry Association of Washington. He has also served as a State Director with Skagit Island Counties Builders Association and sits on the Advisory Board for Bellevue College’s Customer Experience program.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from DeVry University, specializing in Small Business and Entrepreneurship, and earned his Master’s degree from the Executive MBA program at Washington State University in 2017.
