Drew serves as Kodiak’s General Counsel, overseeing all legal advisory needs for Kodiak and its operating companies. With a comprehensive practice in general business and corporate law matters, Drew’s expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital financings, securities offerings, corporate governance, and commercial transactions.

Drew is listed in The Best Lawyers in America© for Corporate Law, Leveraged Buyouts and Private Equity, Securities/Capital Markets Law, and Venture Capital Law. In 2023, he was honored as a “Super Lawyer” by Colorado Super Lawyers. Actively involved in the legal community, Drew is a member of the American Bar Association’s M&A Committee and is contributes to the publication of the Private Target Mergers and Acquisitions Deal Points Study.

Before joining Kodiak full-time, Drew served as a Partner at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP, where he provided legal counsel to emerging growth and middle-market companies across various industries. His practice involved advising on acquisitions, financing transactions, securities transactions, commercial arrangements, and more. Before this, Drew held partnership roles at a Denver-based regional law firm and the Colorado office of Cooley LLP.

Drew’s professional journey started with experience as a Certified Public Accountant Ernst & Young, LLP in Washington, D.C. Following this, he worked as a financial analyst for a publicly traded logistics software company, gaining valuable insights into financial statement audits and analysis.
