As Kodiak’s Chief Information Officer (CIO), Brad directs all tactical and strategic information technology decisions for the company’s operations, drawing on over 40 years of IT, software engineering, and programming experience.

Brad began his career in the building materials industry in 1990, joining Digital Equipment Corporation in Milwaukee as a software consultant. His work involved implementing a new ERP system for Blain’s Farm and Fleet in the Midwest, providing him with valuable exposure to the retail distribution business.

Prior to his tenure at Kodiak, Brad held the position of Vice President of Enterprise Information Management at ProBuild Holdings. There, he established the division and led the data warehouse technology solutions for the company’s enterprise operational reporting and data consolidation systems. In 2003, Brad assumed the role of CIO at United Building Centers (UBC), a predecessor company to ProBuild. During his time at UBC, Brad provided oversight for all IT operations and played a pivotal role in guiding system conversions and implementations required in the company’s mergers and acquisitions activities.

Brad earned his BS degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse in 1983, laying the foundation for his career in information technology.
