Kodiak Building Partners Promotes Mike Flood to Chief Operating Officer

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., September 22, 2025— Kodiak Building Partners, a leading building materials distribution company, today announced the promotion of Mike Flood to chief operating officer. In this role, Flood will oversee operations across Kodiak’s nationwide family of operating companies, ensuring alignment, efficiency and support of every local business for continued growth.

Flood brings more than 35 years of experience in the industry and joined the Kodiak family in 2014 when the company acquired New England Building Supply, where he served as co-president. Since then, he has been instrumental in advancing Kodiak’s operational strategy and growth as executive vice president of operations, where he aligned local companies with Kodiak’s broader initiatives and oversaw marketing and national accounts. His experience as both a hands-on operator and a senior leader has provided him with the perspective needed to guide the organization into its next chapter.
