Whit is the President of Valley Lumber & Rental in Victor, ID. Born and raised in eastern Pennsylvania, Whit gained extensive experience in the family beverage business, mastering various aspects of the industry. He holds a BA in Economics and German.

In 1993, Whit moved to Jackson Hole, WY, initially intending to stay for just one winter. However, he quickly fell in love with the West and decided to make it his permanent home. Recognizing a need for a lumber yard in nearby Teton Valley, ID, Whit purchased raw land in 2002 and launched Valley Lumber & Rental in the spring of 2003. With no prior experience in the lumber business, Whit relied on the support and guidance of family and friends to grow the business. Under his leadership, Valley Lumber & Rental has flourished into a thriving enterprise.
Whit enjoys a rich personal life with his supportive wife, twins, dogs, horses, and chickens. In his free time, he loves skiing and fishing, embracing the outdoor lifestyle of the region he has come to call home.
