Cory serves as President of Sun Mountain Custom Doors, overseeing all facets of the company’s operations, including sales, marketing, manufacturing, distribution, finance, IT, and human resources. His leadership style emphasizes servant leadership, fostering an environment where team members can grow and excel in their careers.

With over 30 years of experience in building materials and manufacturing, Cory’s career began with a certification in AutoCAD and residential design after high school. He started as an engineer at a supplier of manufactured homes, quickly progressing into operations management where he oversaw estimating, purchasing, production, and logistics. Throughout his career, Cory has integrated operational aspects with sales, marketing, supply chain management, manufacturing, engineering, and information technology, leveraging a collaborative approach to drive organizational success.

During the 2010s, Cory spearheaded multiple acquisitions and integrations of distribution and manufacturing locations, significantly boosting sales growth and expanding market presence. Recently, his focus has been on implementing cutting-edge technology to enhance manufacturing efficiency, sales effectiveness, and streamline business processes and logistics.

Outside of work, Cory resides in the Colorado foothills with his wife, enjoying outdoor activities, playing guitar, kayaking, and spending quality time with their children and grandchildren. Committed to making a positive impact, Cory has served as a recovery mentor and life coach, embodying the values instilled by his father: show mercy, be humble, act justly, and always leave a positive impact on those around you.
