Profile
As Senior Vice President of Kodiak’s Doors, Millwork & Windows segment, Jerry spearheads strategic initiatives and oversees operations to drive growth and excellence in his division. Before joining Kodiak, Jerry demonstrated his entrepreneurial prowess by purchasing Builders Millwork, Inc. (BMI) and fostering an empowering culture that enabled employees to better serve customers, resulting in significant growth across the Midwest.
Jerry’s professional journey started in the banking industry, where he held various management positions, including serving as the President and CEO of two community banks in west central and eastern Wisconsin. In 2002, he transitioned to the building materials industry with BMI, where he served as President until 2021.
Although Jerry is not currently involved in industry or community boards, he and his family have a long history of community engagement. Previously, Jerry served on a local bank advisory board, coached middle school football, local basketball, and little league. Additionally, he contributed as a member of his church’s finance committee and as a Junior Achievement volunteer teacher/mentor. Alongside his wife, Jerry also served as a local county emergency respite care provider for underaged children in troubled households.
Jerry graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in 1988 with a BS in Business Administration, laying the foundation for his career in both banking and the building materials industry.
