Steve serves as Co-President of Zarsky Lumber alongside Phillip Steffy.

As Co-President, Steve is responsible for overseeing all operations, vendor relations, and purchasing and inventory control at Zarsky Lumber.

From starting with a high school job at a lumberyard to running a lumber company, Steve has served the building materials industry throughout his entire career. Steve joined Zarsky in 1991 as a salesman and quickly became the manager of Zarsky’s Corpus Christi location and was deeply involved in purchasing for the entire company. In the early 2000s, Steve advanced to Vice President and in 2015, he transitioned to Executive Vice President before he was named Co-President in 2018.

Aside from running Zarsky, Steve serves the industry and community through his involvement in the Builders Association as well as coaching a variety of little league sports including basketball, soccer, kickball, and baseball.
