John Mandere is the founder, President, and Manager of Mandere Construction and Northwest Building Components. Throughout his 30+ years in the framing and building materials industry, John has dedicated his career to developing offsite wood framing systems and processes to save time and money on critical path construction schedules.

Starting his career at age 14 remodeling homes for a small contractor, John worked as a residential framer in the early 1990s. In 1992, he founded Mandere Construction to utilize wall panels for improving quality and construction cycle time. Later, in 2004, he established Northwest Building Components, specializing in truss manufacturing.

With over 30 years of experience, John brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his leadership roles. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Associated Builders and Contractors for five years and chaired the Associated Builders and Contractors Inland Pacific Chapter. John was also actively involved in the Structural Building Components Association for 17 years and held a membership with the Spokane Home Builders Association for 23 years.

John graduated from Spokane Community College with an AAS degree in Carpentry and Cabinetry. Outside of work, he enjoys boating, snowmobiling, and traveling with his family.
