John Mandere is the founder, President, and Manager of Mandere Construction and Northwest Building Components.

Throughout his 29 years in the framing and building materials industry, John has dedicated his career to developing offsite wood framing systems and processes to save time and money on critical path construction schedules.

“We are a turnkey contractor and supplier providing framing and exterior finish services to our customers. This has helped us carve out a niche in our region that allows us to be a part of many premier projects in our area.”

John began his career at age 14 remodeling homes for a small contractor. In the early 1990s, John worked as a residential framer and founded Mandere Construction shortly after in 1992 to utilize wall panels to improve quality and construction cycle time. In 2004, he founded Northwest Building Components, a truss manufacturing plant.

John brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry to his leadership roles at Mandere, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Associated Builders and Contractors for five years and being Chairman of the Board for the Associated Builders and Contractors Inland Pacific Chapter. He was also an active member of the Structural Building Components Association for 17 years and served as a member of the Spokane Home Builders Association for 23 years.

John graduated from Spokane Community College with an AAS degree in Carpentry and Cabinetry. In his free time, John enjoys boating, snowmobiling, and taking trips with his family.
