Eric brings over 15 years of leadership experience to his role as President of Simonson Lumber. His career began as a Production Supervisor in a turnkey processing facility, where he honed his skills in team management and operations. He then advanced to become the General Manager of Mathew Hall Components, specializing in manufacturing leadership before assuming his current position at Simonson Lumber.

Eric’s expertise spans manufacturing operations, team leadership, and strategic management. His background in the food industry has equipped him with valuable insights into optimizing processes and enhancing organizational efficiency. Eric joined Simonson Lumber three years ago, starting in the truss plant at Mathew Hall Components and progressing to leadership roles within Simonsonson’s corporate office.

Beyond his role at Simonson Lumber, Eric actively contributes to his community and industry. He has served on panels for educational institutions like St. Cloud Technical College and Summit Academy, and participates in various local business associations. Eric also dedicates his time as a volunteer coach for several youth sports teams, highlighting his commitment to community engagement and mentorship.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in business Management from St. Cloud State University, underscoring his dedication to continuous learning and professional development. In his role as President of Simonson Lumber, Eric looks forward to driving continued growth and innovation while maintaining a strong focus on employee development and community involvement.
