Charley serves as President of Miller Lumber Company.

Charley began his career at Miller Lumber as a child clearing the office and pulling weeds. When he turned 15, Charley was officially put on Miller’s payroll and he started working in the lumber yard stocking and cleaning up. In 1987, Charley became the General Manager of Miller and then President upon his father’s death in 2001. Throughout his 37 years of working at Miller Lumber, Charley has performed nearly all of the job functions at the company, giving him a  unique perspective to the family business operations and the building materials industry.

Over the years, Charley has been very active in his community and has been involved in many organizations including the Central Oregon Community College Board, Bend Chamber of Commerce Board, Central Oregon Builders Association board, and many others. Within the industry, Charley served on the board of the Western building Materials Association for 30 years with one year as President.

When he is not busy serving the community and running Miller Lumber, Charley enjoys spending time with his family and the many recreational activities that Central Oregon has to offer.

Charley graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
